The average teacher spends $650 - $1000 of their own money to purchase classroom supplies every year and this year, with COVID precautions in place, that number is likely to be even higher.
Elon Law believes that education is everyone's business. We want
teachers and students to have the tools they need for success, so we are partnering with
Guilford Education Alliance (GEA) and we need your help!
GEA operates the Teacher Supply Warehouse, where Guilford County School educators can shop for new and gently-used classroom supplies at no cost! Since COVID, use of the Warehouse has increased dramatically! In the 2021-22 school year, more than 4000 teacher orders were filled, equaling $600,000 in supplies! The 2022-23 school year should continue to be as busy - already teacher shopping is up by more than 15%. Please make a donation and help GEA keep the shelves stocked with all the most need items like individual dry erase boards, marker sets, flash drives, and other items. Let's work together to make sure the shelves of the Warehouse are stocked with all the most-needed supplies. A donation of any amount is helpful, so please consider donating today!
GEA DOUBLES the value of your donation by buying in bulk at the best prices.
EVERY dollar makes a difference for a student:
$15 = 214 No. 2 pencils
$32 = 10 8GB thumb drives with lanyards - crucial for online learning
$59 = A class set of individual dry erase boards with erasers and markers
$98 = 90 clipboards - great for classroom organization
$250 = 140 individual Crayola watercolor paint sets - because creative expression matters!
