Each year, the Teacher Supply Warehouse provides free supplies for teachers in Guilford County Schools. Our community's generosity helps provide Guilford County Schools (GCS) students & teachers the tools that they need to be successful. We are proud to partner with the City of Greensboro and provide an opportunity for citizens to settle parking tickets (handicapped parking citations excluded) with an equal value donation to the Teacher Supply Warehouse!
This year, going back to school is different.
2020-2021 is full of uncertainties, but we do know one thing - there will be school whether it's in-person or online. And more than ever before, students and teachers need your support! Help us make sure that they have all the tools needed to continue learning.
This year, instead of asking you to purchase items to donate from a store, we are asking you to donate dollars that will allow us to purchase the specific supplies that are most needed. COVID protocols mean students can't share supplies like they have in previous years. We need more individual dry erase boards, marker sets, clipboards, and other items than we have in a typical year. GEA is also implementing an online shopping system to ensure that teachers can get their supplies conveniently and safely.
GEA will stretch your donation by buying in bulk at the best price. Every dollar makes a difference for a student:
$15 = 214 No. 2 pencils
$35 = 10 8GB thumb drives with lanyards - crucial for online learning
$50 = A class set of individual dry erase boards with erasers and markers
$100 = 90 clipboards - great for at-home or in classroom organization
$250 = 140 individual Crayola watercolor paint sets because creative expression matters!
