The average teacher spends $650 - $1000 of their own money to purchase classroom supplies each and every year.
WFMY believes that education is everyone's business. We want
teachers and students to have the tools they need for success, so we are partnering with
Guilford Education Alliance (GEA) and we need your help!
GEA operates the Teacher Supply Warehouse, where Guilford County School educators can shop for new and gently-used classroom supplies at no cost. Use of the Warehouse has increased dramatically over the past few years. In the 2022-23 school year, more than 3500 teacher orders were filled, equaling more $500,000 in supplies distributed! Please make a donation and help GEA keep the shelves stocked with all the most-needed items like individual dry erase boards, marker sets, glue sticks, folders, etc. Let's work together to make sure the shelves of the Warehouse are stocked with all the most-needed supplies. A donation of any amount is helpful, so please consider donating today.
GEA DOUBLES the value of your donation by buying in bulk at the best prices.
EVERY dollar makes a difference for a student:
$15 = 166 No. 2 pencils
$32 = 87 two-pocket folders - crucial for organization
$73 = A class set of individual dry erase boards and markers
$98 = 51 clipboards - great for outside lessons
$250 = 92 boxes of Crayola crayons - because creative expression matters!
Thank you for supporting education!
Together we are Building Bright Futures!
